Power load is rising, Chongqing issues a proposal to save electricity.

Recently, there has been a large range of sunny and high-temperature weather in Chongqing, which is significantly higher than normal, and the rainfall is obviously less. The meteorological department has continuously issued high-temperature red warnings, and the city’s power load has been rising, and the power peak summer situation is grim. Let’s act together, from now on, from ourselves, from little by little, to save electricity and save electricity scientifically, so as to contribute to the safe and stable operation of electric power.

First, advocate public institutions to take the lead in saving electricity

Chongqing party and government organs, institutions, social organizations and other public institutions should set an example of saving electricity, strengthen daily energy-saving management, and take the lead in green energy-saving office. Reduce the use time of air conditioner, and set the refrigeration temperature not lower than 27 degrees Celsius. Reduce the amount and time of lighting, use natural lighting and green lighting as much as possible, form the habit of "lights go out when people walk", and cut off the power supply of general office equipment after work. Adjust the elevator operation reasonably, and advocate the use of walking ladders within the upper and lower floors of the office.

Second, advocate industrial enterprises to avoid peaks in science of electricity.

Industrial enterprises, especially state-owned enterprises, actively fulfill their social responsibilities and make full use of the time-of-use electricity price policy. Scientifically and reasonably arrange production shifts, use electricity at off-peak hours, actively relieve the power supply pressure during peak hours (11: 00-17: 00 and 20: 00-22: 00), reduce non-productive and unnecessary electricity consumption, actively adopt energy-saving equipment that meets national energy consumption standards, and stop using idle equipment in time. Advocate industrial enterprises to arrange production maintenance time and workers’ annual leave reasonably. Encourage qualified enterprises to actively build and use distributed photovoltaic, user-side energy storage and other alternative power sources and peak shaving equipment.

Third, advocate the rational use of electricity by commercial enterprises

Advocate large-scale commercial complexes, shopping malls, supermarkets and other public commercial places, implement air conditioning temperature control standards for public buildings, reduce or stop high-power electrical equipment during peak hours, scientifically optimize the management of electricity consumption such as lighting, elevators and light box advertisements according to business hours and people flow, rationally optimize the scope of electricity consumption, and reduce electricity consumption such as lighting, elevators and electrical appliances display. Try to keep the doors and windows closed during the operation of the air conditioner, set the refrigeration temperature reasonably, turn off the air conditioner in advance when the business is closed, and turn off some air conditioners when the temperature is low in the morning and evening.

Fourth, advocate the optimal operation of landscape lighting

Advocate scientific control of the construction and operation of landscape lighting projects such as media wall and "light show" with super high energy consumption, super large scale, excessive lighting and light pollution. Scientifically adjust the power consumption scale of urban functional lighting, night landscape lighting and all kinds of advertising lights in a timely manner, and take measures such as "turning on every other position and turning on by half" during the peak period of power consumption.

Fifth, advocate low-carbon and energy-saving in family communities

Encourage the majority of Chongqing citizens to make the best use of natural light at home, not to turn on the "ever-burning lamp", and try to use high-efficiency and low-energy appliances. Set the air conditioning refrigeration temperature reasonably, reduce the number of air conditioning equipment used, and try not to turn on all air conditioners at home at the same time to avoid idling of air conditioners when no one is around. Turn off the power supply when not using electrical appliances to reduce standby power consumption. Actively handle the time-of-use electricity price, use electricity at off-peak hours, and use high-power equipment such as washing machines and car charging piles at night as much as possible (0: 00-8: 00).
