外观方面，传祺M8宗师系列的设计可以说已经达到了很高的水准，E9就是在这个基础上打造，不过它采用了新的 “鲲鹏展翼”设计主题，横向的布局加上羽翼式大灯，确实有展翼的气势。细节上，前脸横向六条格栅，两条上下方的饰件，再加一条灯带横贯灯组，竖向单侧五条灯带，“横九竖五”就是九五之尊。然后这样的横条辐有点无边界设计的感觉，没有那种具象的大嘴，就更有新能源的气质。
来到侧面，也基本是M8宗师系列的轮廓造型，侧裙的包围有细节变化，然后比较明显的变化则是车窗上沿的镀铬饰条，E9在后部做了造型，并且没有像向下转折，所以视觉上就完全是悬浮车顶的造型，整个车窗感觉就像一整块过来的。车尾与M8保持一致，相信每个人看到这个“时空之门”尾灯都会被它的霸气震慑一下，变化的小地方也样是下包围，会更简洁利落。
内饰方面，四平八稳且端庄大气的布局，材质搭配也够丰富，然后E9也同样提供多种风格色彩搭配，“云山珠水”的雅致，“歌剧殿堂”的浪漫。传祺E9前排就有三块屏幕，12.3英寸组合驾控仪表+14.6英寸超大悬浮式中控屏+12.3英寸副驾娱乐屏。在ADiGO系统和雅马哈音响的组合下，有丰富的应用，也有悦耳的音质。
对于最重要的第二排，屏幕也得安排，拥有15.6英寸独立影音系统，然后MPV最尊贵提醒则是座椅，半苯胺高级真皮面料，各种电动调节，“一键SPA”模式的按摩功能，还有头枕音响，享受就对了。
