For example, Gansu and Chongqing will hold a written examination of civil servant recruitment today, while the recruitment of civil servants in Liaoning Province is being registered. Many provinces started the recruitment of civil servants, Gansu and Chongqing today’s written test.
According to the previously released recruitment announcement, the civil servants of Gansu’s 2019 annual examination recruitment agency and the staff of the civil service law management unit will hold a written test today.
The recruitment of civil servants in Gansu was announced by the Organization Department of Gansu Provincial Party Committee in July this year, and online registration was conducted from July 16 to 26.
Chongqing is also holding the civil service recruitment examination today. In August this year, Chongqing Municipality issued two announcements on the recruitment of civil servants, including the recruitment of civil servants from outstanding village (community) cadres and the open recruitment of court system and procuratorial organs. The written examination time for these two recruitment examinations was September 7.
On the occasion of the upcoming written examination in Gansu and Chongqing, on September 5, Liaoning Provincial Civil Service Bureau issued an announcement on the recruitment of civil servants by examination, and the province will organize the implementation of the 2019 examination for provincial, city, county and township organs (including those referring to the civil service law management organs) to be employed as civil servants below the first-level director and other equivalent ranks. The registration time for this recruitment is from 9: 00 on September 6 to September 10, and the written test is scheduled for November 3.

The scale of recruitment has increased or decreased. Liaoning plans to recruit more than 7,000 people.
Judging from the scale of recruitment, in April this year, more than 20 provinces across the country held provincial examinations for the recruitment of civil servants on the same day, with a total planned recruitment of nearly 90,000 people. However, compared with last year, the scale of planned recruitment in Fujian, Shandong and other provinces has dropped significantly this year.
In the first half of the year, Guangdong was the only province that planned to recruit more than 10,000 people, while Hainan and Ningxia planned to recruit less than 1,000 people.
As far as the provinces that recruit civil servants in the second half of the year are concerned, according to the report of Gansu Daily, 1,440 positions have been confirmed in Gansu this year, and 2,068 people are planned to be recruited. This recruitment scale has decreased by 1/3 compared with 3,104 people last year.
It is worth mentioning that in Liaoning Province, which started the recruitment of civil servants in the near future, the recruitment scale of civil servants in Liaoning Province reached 7,209, and the number of planned recruits increased significantly compared with previous years.

The recruitment policy of civil servants in many places is inclined to the grassroots.

For example, in the provinces where the recruitment of civil servants has been held recently, in addition to the provincial examination for civil servants who are recruited for the society, Gansu and Chongqing have also specially issued the "Announcement on Recruiting Civil Servants in Township Organs from Excellent Village Cadres".
In Chongqing, the city plans to recruit a group of township (street) civil servants from the outstanding village (community) cadres in the city. The recruitment conditions clearly stipulate that it is necessary to play a leading role in poverty alleviation, rural revitalization, community governance and rural governance, and it has a high prestige among party member and the masses.
It is clear in Gansu’s recruitment announcement that with the approval of the provincial civil servant department, the academic qualifications of particularly outstanding village party secretaries and village committee directors can be relaxed to secondary schools and high schools, and the age can be relaxed to 40 years old. In addition, if the resident of grassroots recruitment units in hard and remote areas of the province is above 3000 meters above sea level, the academic qualifications can be relaxed to secondary schools and high schools.
