It should be mentioned here that the Blessed One is the honorific title of Buddha in Buddhist culture, and most of the time it refers to the founder of Buddhism, Sakyamuni. And the Tathagata in "Journey to the West" is the collection of higher Buddhas such as Sakyamuni, and it happens to be at the Obong meeting, and the plan of learning scriptures is decided, so the Buddha mentioned in the narration is the Tathagata.

Remember that I mentioned at the beginning of the article that the narrator may be the opposite of the Buddha? With the above information, we can make it more clear that the narrator is an anti-Buddhist being, maybe even a nemesis of the Tathagata. We can know that it is the "Maitreya Buddha" called the Future Buddha, and judging from the sound, Maitreya Buddha and the narrator are likely to be the same person.

And the scene and behavior of Maitreya Buddha also further deepen the possibility of this conjecture. When Maitreya Buddha appeared, there was a group of "Buddhas" around him. Judging from their ferocious faces, they were not so much "Buddhas" as "monsters"; and after seeing the protagonist, Maitreya Buddha directly imprisoned him in the golden cypress – which exactly corresponds to the behavior of the Yellow-browed King in "Journey to the West".

Judging from the abandoned setting map, it is the "joy in the eyes" in "Journey to the West". It is a member of the robber organization. The other members are anger in the ears, love in the nose, smell, taste in the tongue, desire for opinions, and worry about the body. They represent the "six roots" of people.

Moreover, "Tongue Taste" actually appeared in the game. In the setting picture, it was a monster with a huge tongue and held a corpse. The producer Yang Qi once said on Weibo that Tongue Taste could also have a poignant love story.

The monster with a long face and knees in the demo also appeared in the set. It was a fake Buddha in the Little Thunderclap Temple, which corresponded to the monster that turned into a Buddha under King Huang Mei in "Journey to the West".
