Meizu mentioned that at present, with the extension of the replacement cycle of the global mobile phone market, the limited space for consumer innovation, and the intensification of vicious competition in the industry, the mobile phone industry is facing unprecedented challenges. At the same time, mobile phone products rely solely on hardware upgrades and parameter competition, which can no longer meet the diverse and comprehensive use needs and experience of consumers. The industry urgently needs to find a new sustainable development direction.

"After two years of team training, resource allocation, product layout, and full pre-research of related technologies, Meizu now has the ability to fully transform the AI field." At this AI conference, Meizu also announced the details of the AI strategic plan, including building AI Device (equipment) products, reconstructing the Flyme (Meizu Unbounded) system and building an AI ecosystem.

Among them, the creation of AI Devices includes product form AI native design, hardware computing power AI global call, etc. By reconstructing the product form of hardware, it will bring users a more intelligent, convenient and innovative AI product experience; Flyme will also reconstruct the system and application from the bottom, so that AI technology can be more deeply integrated into the operating system, bringing users a more intuitive AI interactive experience. In addition, Meizu will also focus on building an AI ecosystem, and fully open Meizu AI Device hardware to many international top model teams, including OpenAI, to jointly promote the innovation and development of AI technology.

Meizu mentioned that the company will gradually complete the All in AI vision through three years of ecological layout and technology precipitation. According to the plan, Meizu’s new mobile operating system for the AI era will be updated in 2024 to build the infrastructure capability of the AI era operating system. In addition, Meizu’s first AI Device hardware product will also be officially released this year and compete head-on with the world’s top AI Device manufacturers.

Meizu also revealed that Meizu has completed the construction of 300 + retail stores and 400 + service stores in offline channels, covering all parts of the country. Existing Meizu mobile phone products on sale will continue to provide users with normal software and hardware maintenance services.
