BYD Han DM-i Champion Edition／DM-P Ares Edition went on sale, starting at 189,800 yuan.

On May 18th, BYD Han DM-i Champion Edition/Han DM-p Ares Edition will be officially launched today. The price range of the former is 189,800-249,800 yuan, and the starting price is 10,000 yuan lower than that of the old model, while the latter is 289,800 yuan. For example, Han DM-i Champion Edition has added a version with a pure battery life of 200km, and Han DM-p Ares Edition is equipped with Yunqi -C intelligent damping body control system.

The Chinese DM-i Champion Edition has added a new color selection of Glacier Blue. The new car comes standard with FSD variable damping suspension system, and some models can be equipped with Yunqi -C intelligent damping body control system (which has been equipped with hardware and upgraded by OTA this year). In terms of size, the length, width and height of Han DM-i Champion Edition are 4975/1910/1495 mm and the wheelbase is 2920 mm respectively.

In terms of configuration, the new car has a wide temperature range high-efficiency heat pump air conditioner, a mobile phone NFC car key, a BSD blind spot monitoring system, and a W-HUD head-up display. In terms of power, the new car uses a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a blade battery and a 1.5Ti engine. In addition to retaining the 121km version of pure battery life, it also adds a 200km version of pure battery life, with a battery life of 1,260 km in hybrid mode and a fuel consumption of 4.5L per 100 km. It also supports 6KW external discharge.

The appearance of Han DM-p Ares Edition uses BASF’s third-generation black paint, and adds special black aluminum powder and a proper amount of glass sheets, and the black is full of delicate flashes. The new car is also equipped with the Ares version of the sports appearance kit, including carbon black wheels, matte black logo, black metal triangular windows and frames, as well as high-performance four-piston fixed pliers (front).

The new car adopts DM-p hybrid technology. The maximum power of the system is 580Ps and the maximum torque is 822N?m. With the super intelligent electric four-wheel drive, the acceleration per 100 kilometers is 3.7s. In terms of battery life, Han DM-p Ares NEDC has a pure battery life of 200km and a comprehensive battery life of 1120km. The new car is also equipped with Yunqi -C intelligent damping body control system (OTA upgrade is required), which can adaptively adjust the damping according to the road surface and driving state to realize millisecond adjustment of damping. In addition, Han DM-i Champion Edition/DM-p Ares Edition all reduce the unsprung weight and improve the handling performance of the whole vehicle through the optimization of materials and technology. The suspension arm and steering knuckle were upgraded to aluminum, and the section of the parts was increased by about 2 times, and the weight was reduced by about 29%. Aluminum wheel adopts spinning process, which has lighter weight, higher strength and better durability, and the weight is reduced by about 10%.
