National Aquatics Center launches ＂Longyao Water Cube＂ Spring Festival series activities.

　　On January 31st, the reporter learned from the National Aquatics Center ("Water Cube") that in order to enrich the contents of tourist visits and create a festive atmosphere for the Spring Festival in the Year of the Dragon, the Water Cube has launched a series of activities of "Longyao Water Cube", a huge landscape, light sculpture and flying dragon performance derived from the mascot "Auspicious Dragon" of the Happy Spring Festival in 2024 by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, an exhibition of "Longyao Water Cube Happy in the Year of the Dragon" and a non-legacy dragon dance.

　　As one of the features of the series of activities, the exhibition "Longyao Water Cube Celebrates the Year of the Dragon" was jointly organized by the Water Cube and the Joy Museum, and was opened to the public in the Water Cube Competition Hall from January 26th to March 15th.

　　The dragon is the core element of the exhibition, which includes seven categories: the world’s earliest animation "Shadow Dragon", the idol of home town house "Woodcarving Dragon", the messenger of understanding "Printmaking Dragon", the oldest drama in the world "Nuo Face Dragon", the multi-aesthetic drawing "colorful painting dragon", the extremely popular craft "embroidery dragon" and the New Year picture "Everything is prosperous".

　　At the same time, well-known design teams are invited to take "Dragon is Spirit" as the curatorial concept, and use dynamic light and shadow, phantom imaging, artistic installation, creative sculpture, restoration of ancient buildings and other display means to present the visual landscape of "dragon surging water" and "flying dragon in the sky", and activate the vitality of cultural heritage with modern technology.
