Zhou Huafeng’s wife, Jiang Yuekui, is a cook at Xinhua Central Station of Guangqing Expressway. Shortly after the opening of Guangqing Expressway in 1992, they both joined Guangqing Branch as expressway toll collectors, and they became attached to each other because of the road. Although their home is not far from their workplace, since Spring Festival travel rush, they have only had a few times to go home and reunite with their son.

" Xu Xin, the squad leader of Guangqing Expressway from Jilin, called his mother in a hurry while having lunch in the expressway service area.
During their stay in Spring Festival travel rush, Xu Xin and the class members will patrol the road four times a day, monitor the traffic situation, find out and eliminate small hidden dangers on the road, and deal with emergencies. For example, sometimes the traffic in the service area is too large. In order to avoid the situation that the traffic flows backward to the main line, Xu Xin has to direct the traffic flow in and out and the vehicle parking together with the class members, so as to help the drivers and passengers who need to ask for directions and change tires. According to the statistics of previous years, when Spring Festival travel rush came down, their patrol mileage reached more than 10,000 kilometers.
Xu Xin said that when talking about not going home for the Spring Festival after 18 years of employment, Xu Xin said: "Now communication is convenient, and a short phone call with our family is another way for us to reunite with our family."

Feng han’s daughter was born on New Year’s Eve in 2002, because his wife’s due date was after the Spring Festival, and he wanted to take a few more days off to go home to accompany his wife to give birth. Unexpectedly, just after work on New Year’s Eve, his wife told him that her daughter had been born before he came back.
Feng han’s tears shed instantly, and she felt that she had missed something. This regret remained in his heart until 2018, 16 years later, when Han Feng applied for a vacation, and the family of four gave their daughter a happy birthday party.
