The 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward a major proposition of the popularization of Marxism, and the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China further deployed the strategic task of promoting the modernization and popularization of Marxism in China and studying Socialism with Chinese characteristics Theory. To implement this strategic plan, the first thing is to understand the basic viewpoints and methods of Marxism from the theoretical source. The "three modernizations" and their relationship reflect the ideological quality of Marxist innovation and development, which has both Marxist theoretical content and developing practical methods. We should combine the localization of Marxism in China with the modernization of Marxism, and combine Marxism with the development and characteristics of the current era. Judging from the relationship between China and popularization, the popularization of Marxism in contemporary China is inseparable from Marxism in China, and the process of popularization must include China. Only by combining the reality of China can the ultimate goal of Marxism popularization be realized.
